Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eliseo Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Darnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason Darnell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darnell closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vega quickly recovers to half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vega slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Mason Darnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darnell throws a nice looking combination but Vega bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vega throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Darnell's waist but Darnell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vega off to one side.
Darnell dives in and scores a takedown into Vega's guard.
Darnell wants to stand and escape but instead Vega has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Darnell has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Vega off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

I would just about give that final round to Mason Darnell.
