Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fredrick Lancaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Beles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Beles will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fredrick Lancaster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Beles! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beles closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lancaster to the mat! Lancaster manages to get full guard. Lancaster managing to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beles trying to control the position from guard on top but Lancaster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lancaster throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beles is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lancaster seems keen to control Beles's posture.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Beles moves into the clinch. Beles lands a nice knee to the body. Beles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
John Beles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beles rushes Lancaster and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lancaster tries to score a body lock takedown but Beles shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Beles pulls Lancaster into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beles wants to control the position but Lancaster says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Beles looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lancaster scoring with strikes to the body and head. Beles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lancaster. Lancaster is thwarting Beles's attempts to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beles is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Lancaster jumps into side control! Beles manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lancaster's best efforts. Beles makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Beles. Beles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lancaster stands up over Beles, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lancaster postures up in Beles's guard and throws a big left but Beles blocks it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lancaster won't allow Beles to get back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Beles takes the fight into the clinch. Lancaster drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Beles gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Beles gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lancaster holds on and takes a little breather. Lancaster working a defensive guard but Beles manages to pass into side control anyway.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Beles dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Beles tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Beles drives through with a takedown into guard. Beles trying to control but Lancaster is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lancaster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beles engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Lancaster is trying to control the position but Beles postures up. Beles has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lancaster is proving hard to escape from.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lancaster defending well as Beles loads up on a big left hand. Lancaster gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beles looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Beles would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Beles being controlled here momentarily. Lancaster's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lancaster throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Beles trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Lancaster manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Lancaster with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lancaster is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Beles avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lancaster scoring with punches to the head and body. Beles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Beles might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lancaster haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lancaster fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Beles, pushing him back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Beles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lancaster. Lancaster shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beles is trying to defend but Lancaster finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Beles is looking to control Lancaster's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Beles avoid being mounted? The fighters are battling for position here. Beles manages to regain full guard. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beles uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Beles throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beles shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lancaster napping and manages to drive through into side control! Beles tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Beles working away. The strikes coming from Beles are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Lancaster trying to control but Beles flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Beles looking for the RNC. Beles punches the canvas rather than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lancaster is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Beles is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lancaster knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lancaster for a finish. Beles takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lancaster is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Beles gets his way!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lancaster controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Beles gets his hands free as Lancaster looks to control. Beles missing with strikes. Lancaster can't escape the position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Lancaster looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lancaster covering up well and avoiding damage.
And that's the end of the fight! John Beles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Beles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
