The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Barnes.
Barnes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Peterson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barnes manages to avoid it.
Peterson throws a hook but Barnes blocks it.
Barnes tries a head kick but it misses.
Peterson moves out of range of the leg kick from Barnes.
Barnes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peterson misses with a wild combination.
Peterson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Barnes sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Barnes lands a head kick. Peterson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barnes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Peterson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Peterson digs a good hook to Barnes's body.
A nice combination there by Peterson.

It looks like Alonzo Barnes has been cut.
Peterson cracks Barnes on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Barnes falls backwards against the cage. Peterson follows up with more strikes that drop Barnes to his knees. Peterson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Barnes! This one is all over!
