Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Olivero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alekseyi Bakradze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. On his way into the cage it seems that Ivan Olivero has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ivan Olivero seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ivan Olivero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alekseyi Bakradze! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bakradze is looking to clinch. Olivero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Olivero pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jab, jab by Olivero - just one landing. Bakradze moves out of range of the body kick. Bakradze takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bakradze tries to close the distance and clinch but Olivero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A kick lands to the mid section there for Olivero. Olivero circles away from the clinch attempt.
Olivero throws a sloppy head kick and Bakradze moves out of range easily. Bakradze avoids the head kick by Olivero.
Olivero connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bakradze. Bakradze circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bakradze is looking to clinch. Bakradze takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Olivero avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've been told by Olivero's head coaches at Soco na mãe - Stand Up Striking that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Bakradze doesn't manage to clinch there - Olivero circles away.
Bakradze has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bakradze there as he acknowledges the shot. Olivero tries a head kick but it misses.
Olivero fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bakradze on the side of the head.
Bakradze is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bakradze walks straight into a right hand from Olivero - that's dropped him! Olivero jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bakradze from any more punishment! Bakradze complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ivan Olivero! Ivan Olivero seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
