Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juri Slavonsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Vaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jamie Vaughan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juri Slavonsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamie Vaughan! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaughan lands a jab to the head.
Slavonsky closes the distance and clinches up with Vaughan, looking for a takedown. Slavonsky pushes Vaughan against the cage but Vaughan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Vaughan clinches up with Slavonsky and pushes him back against the cage. Vaughan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Vaughan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Vaughan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vaughan tries to sprawl but Slavonsky drives through with a takedown into half guard. Slavonsky throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Slavonsky keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Slavonsky is just content to waste time from the top position. Vaughan takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Vaughan keeping full guard, as Slavonsky tries to pass. Vaughan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vaughan has his foot on Slavonsky's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slavonsky works his way back into a safe position though. Slavonsky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vaughan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slavonsky has managed to get both his arms back between Vaughan's legs - danger averted. Vaughan trying to control the position.
Slavonsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Vaughan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Slavonsky is stalling in the full guard. Slavonsky drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Vaughan dives on top into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vaughan won't allow Slavonsky to sweep him here. Vaughan stands and throws Slavonsky's legs to the side, diving into side control. Vaughan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. You can see the frustration on Slavonsky's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Vaughan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Slavonsky to see if he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Vaughan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Vaughan cracks Slavonsky with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vaughan laying and praying for a moment but Slavonsky takes advantage and regains half guard. Vaughan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slavonsky does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Slavonsky is trying to maintain the position but Vaughan is very close to passing his half guard. Vaughan is trying to control the action in half guard but Slavonsky is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Vaughan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Slavonsky keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Vaughan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Slavonsky defending well though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Slavonsky tries to roll over but Vaughan keeps him under control. Vaughan thows a huge punch but Slavonsky dodges it nicely.
Vaughan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Vaughan trying to mount his opponent but Slavonsky defends it. Slavonsky taking some punishment here, with Vaughan in his half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vaughan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slavonsky does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamie Vaughan dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Vaughan tests Slavonsky's chin there with a solid looking shot. Slavonsky will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vaughan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Slavonsky quickly recovers to half guard. Ground and pound from Vaughan. Vaughan trying to control the pace. Vaughan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Slavonsky has managed to free his arm - good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slavonsky wants to control but Vaughan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Vaughan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Vaughan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Vaughan working over Slavonsky with some ground and pound. Slavonsky looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Vaughan not landing any meaningful shots this time. Vaughan wants to take a breather but Slavonsky is having none of it. Vaughan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vaughan connects with a nice short shot to Slavonsky's temple. Slavonsky taking some punishment here, with Vaughan in his half guard. Vaughan slips a nice elbow through Slavonsky's hands, connecting with Slavonsky's forehead. Slavonsky is not content to let Vaughan control the position. Vaughan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Slavonsky has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vaughan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slavonsky is just riding it out for now. Vaughan eventually gives up the hold. Slavonsky wants to control but Vaughan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Slavonsky looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Slavonsky is pressing down on Vaughan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slavonsky working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Vaughan. Vaughan with a flurry of punches that miss. Slavonsky keeping moving, preventing Vaughan from controlling successfully. Vaughan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slavonsky dives on top into guard. Slavonsky sitting in guard here, content to control. Vaughan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Vaughan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Slavonsky manages to get himself to full guard.
Vaughan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slavonsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vaughan trying to control the position from guard on top but Slavonsky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Slavonsky wants to stand and escape but Vaughan is having none of it. Slavonsky is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jamie Vaughan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Some wild striking there from Slavonsky.
Vaughan lands a nice shot to the body.
Slavonsky throws an overhand right that lands on Vaughan's shoulder, as Vaughan tries to avoid the shot. Slavonsky takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Slavonsky tries to bum rush Vaughan with a series of wild strikes but Vaughan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Vaughan has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Slavonsky is landing a low percentage of strikes. Vaughan misses the shot to the body. Slavonsky tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vaughan defends well and Slavonsky ends up having to push Vaughan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Vaughan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Slavonsky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vaughan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vaughan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Slavonsky is rocked! Vaughan wobbles Slavonsky with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Vaughan dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Slavonsky to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
