Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toni Urg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Boom. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toni Urg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Ross!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ross scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Ross content to control rather than advance.
Urg wants to control but Ross is keeping busy.
Urg wants to get back to full guard.
Ross with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Urg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Urg tries to roll over but Ross keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Urg regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ross must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Urg pulls Ross in close to his closed guard and prevents Ross from doing any damage or advancing position.

Ross not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Urg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Urg enables Ross to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Urg manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ross stays in close to Urg's body and controls the position.

Urg has his foot on Ross's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ross works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ross should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ross wants to control from the top but Urg keeps moving.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

A close round but Rick Ross will probably get the nod.

Ross got a little sloppy there for a moment and Urg has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ross has managed to get both his arms back between Urg's legs - danger averted.

Urg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ross postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Ross looking to score a takedown here. Urg is defending well but Ross drives through and ends up in Urg's guard.
Urg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ross is one step ahead there.

Urg is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ross slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Urg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ross can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Urg seems keen to control Ross's posture.
Urg is looking to stand up but Ross isn't so interested in that idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ross is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ross's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Urg has his feet on Ross's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Ross takes a jab right on the kisser.

Ross shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ross has eaten all the pies!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Ross decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Urg moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Urg thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ross wants to sweep here but Urg controlling him for the moment.
Urg will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Urg throws a big elbow that misses.
Ross pulls Urg in close to prevent any damage.
Urg with a flurry of punches that miss.
Urg being controlled here momentarily.

Urg stands up and waves to Ross to follow him.

Ross looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ross takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Urg trying to control but Ross postures up.
Urg is pressing down on Ross's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Rick Ross comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ross has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
