Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Winston Okafor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Fly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jamaican Raggae Mix. Winston Okafor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Super Fly's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Winston Okafor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Super Fly!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okafor throws an overhand right that lands on Fly's shoulder, as Fly tries to avoid the shot.
Okafor jabs Fly to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Okafor throws a lazy right hand but Fly sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Okafor shoots in for a takedown but Fly shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fly keeps Okafor at a distance using the push kick.
Fly bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Okafor throws a sloppy body shot
and Fly counters with an outside leg kick.
Okafor looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fly lands a jab.
Okafor gets caught flat footed, as Fly shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Okafor managing to control the position.
Fly trying to control but Okafor is working from the bottom.

Fly trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Okafor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fly's guard.
Fly has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Okafor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Okafor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Okafor has managed to get both his arms back between Fly's legs - danger averted.

Fly is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Okafor defends well.
Okafor wants to pass the guard but Fly is keeping the position.
Fly keeping moving, preventing Okafor from controlling successfully.

Fly is doing well to control the position and prevent Okafor from advancing to side control.

Fly has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Winston Okafor will probably get the nod.
That's time! Okafor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Fly is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Okafor is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fly utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fly is on top in guard.

Okafor wants to sweep but no luck.

Fly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Okafor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Okafor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Okafor is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The strikes coming from Okafor are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Fly is not content to let Okafor control the position.
Okafor is really struggling to control Fly but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Fly is looking to reverse the position.
Fly seems a little lost for a moment, as Okafor dominates the positioning.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fly slips under a jab.
Okafor throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Okafor throws a body punch but Fly moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Winston Okafor dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Winston Okafor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Okafor works to advance to full mount. Fly defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Okafor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Okafor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
