Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leigh Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Maksimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maksimov has chosen The Reaper as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly shoots in for a takedown but Maksimov shows good takedown defense.

Reilly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Maksimov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The fight stays on the outside here - Maksimov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Maksimov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maksimov wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Leigh Reilly will probably get the nod.

Reilly is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maksimov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reilly.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reilly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
