Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Burtsev!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burtsev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ingram was covering up waiting for the punch and Burtsev finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ingram looking for a guillotine here but Burtsev defends easily.
Burtsev trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ingram lands a decent punch to the body there.
Burtsev wants to control from the top but Ingram keeps moving.
Ingram has momentary wrist control but Burtsev slips an elbow through the middle.
Ingram has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burtsev throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Burtsev missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Ingram working for a triangle but Burtsev defends it easily.

Burtsev is fighting to break Ingram's control of his arms but Ingram is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Burtsev must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Burtsev throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ingram works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Burtsev throws a big right hand that misses.
Ingram controls Burtsev momentarily but Burtsev frees himself.
Burtsev postures up in Ingram's guard and throws a big left but Ingram blocks it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ingram lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Burtsev working a defensive guard but Ingram manages to pass into side control anyway.

Ingram is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burtsev is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ingram working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Ingram looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Ingram goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Burtsev rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ingram's guard! Nice work there by Burtsev!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ingram will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Ingram is trying to control the position but Burtsev postures up.

Burtsev is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ingram has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Burtsev is looking to defend but Ingram has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Burtsev! Ingram pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Burtsev taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Josh Ingram!
