Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and God Zilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zilla is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Your arms feel like home.. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, God Zilla!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zilla uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Roman.
Roman jabs Zilla right on the nose. Zilla blinks but takes it well.
Roman throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Roman closes the distance and clinches.
Zilla works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Roman has his hands on Zilla's head, controlling the position.
Zilla wants to control from the top but Roman keeps moving.
Roman throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Zilla must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Zilla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zilla postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Zilla misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Zilla goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Roman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zilla's guard! Nice work there by Roman!

Roman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zilla defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roman controls Zilla momentarily but Zilla frees himself.

Zilla drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zilla jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Zilla is nestled in close to Roman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Zilla working his ground and pound in the gym.

Zilla is looking to take a break and control but Roman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A big right from Roman misses.
The fighters circling - Roman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Roman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zilla on his heels. He'll look to pass Zilla's guard now, I'm sure.
Zilla can't keep his opponent in guard - Roman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Zilla scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Roman manages to mount him!

Roman connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Roman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Zilla bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Roman missing with a left hand there. Zilla was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Zilla throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Zilla tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Roman defends well and Zilla ends up having to push Roman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Zilla manages to break the clinch.
Roman misses with a lunging right hand
and Zilla counters with a shoot takedown. Roman fights it but they end up in guard.

Zilla drops back looking for a leg! Roman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Roman manages to kick Zilla off! Zilla jumps back into Roman's guard.

A close second round but God Zilla will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Zilla throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roman was covering up waiting for the punch and Zilla finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Roman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zilla gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rocco Roman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roman is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Zilla's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Zilla lands a nice hook to Roman's body. Roman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Zilla closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Roman to the mat! Roman manages to get full guard.
Roman is looking for a triangle but Zilla pushes his legs off easily.
