Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lars Kenardly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenardly comes to the cage accompanied by Strokin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lars Kenardly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Hanson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenardly moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Kenardly moves out of range of the body kick from Hanson.
Hanson checks a leg kick. Kenardly gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hanson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Hanson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kenardly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hanson. Hanson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kenardly's head backwards. Hanson gets caught napping as Kenardly dives in and scores a takedown. Hanson manages to retain guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hanson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kenardly wants to control from the top but Hanson keeps moving. Kenardly wants to stand and escape but instead Hanson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Hanson gets to his feet. Kenardly looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kenardly shoots in looking for a takedown but Hanson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kenardly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kenardly fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lars Kenardly. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hanson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kenardly wants to clinch. Kenardly changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kenardly blocks a head kick by Hanson.
Kenardly misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kenardly has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight. Hanson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hanson stuffs the takedown. Lars Kenardly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanson scores with a head kick.
It looks like Lars Kenardly has been cut. Kenardly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hanson circles away quickly and effectively. Kenardly just misses with a punch to the body.
Dave Hanson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kenardly is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kenardly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kenardly fails with a takedown attempt. Hanson throws a right and a left that Kenardly avoids nicely. Hanson throws a nice looking combination but Kenardly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hanson throws a head kick but Kenardly moves out of range.
Kenardly tries to bum rush Hanson with a series of wild strikes but Hanson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kenardly shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanson sprawls well. He's pushed Kenardly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kenardly is defended easily by Hanson. Hanson scores with a one two! Kenardly had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Hanson throws a right and a left that both miss. Hanson throws a push kick but Kenardly slaps the foot to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenardly just misses with a punch to the body.
Kenardly throws a head kick that Hanson semi-blocks.
Kenardly drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kenardly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hanson is keeping the position for now. Kenardly drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hanson dives on top into guard. Kenardly is looking to stand up but Hanson isn't so interested in that idea. Hanson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kenardly, up you get! Kenardly takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hanson misses with a body kick. Kenardly shoots in for a takedown but Hanson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenardly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hanson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hanson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kenardly looks for a takedown but Hanson sprawls well. Kenardly is breathing heavily. Kenardly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hanson drops Kenardly with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hanson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dave Hanson! Dave Hanson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
