Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samael Tex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barry Allen acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tex drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Tex swings around for an armbar but Allen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tex's guard.

Tex is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Tex wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Allen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tex working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Allen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Allen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Allen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Tex jumps guard but Allen stands there with Tex around his waist. Tex gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Tex closes the distance and clinches up with Allen, looking for a takedown. Tex pushes Allen against the cage but Allen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tex swats away the attempt to clinch by Allen.

Tex chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Allen can pounce on him.
Allen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Allen moves into range and clinches up with Tex.

Allen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Allen manages to end up in side control.
Tex manages to work his way to half guard, despite Allen's best efforts.

Allen decides to stand and escape the position.

Horrible takedown by Tex or perhaps it was just good defense by Allen which made him look bad.
Tex swats away the attempt to clinch by Allen.
Tex avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tex shoots in but Allen avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Allen darts in and clinches Tex up against the cage.
Tex has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Allen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
