Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zell Dincht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dincht comes to the ring accompanied by Fanfare. The crowd seem to be enjoying Freedom's choice of entrance music: Star Spangled Banner. Chip Freedom has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zell Dincht! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 28 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chip Freedom! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freedom misses with an uppercut. Dincht saw that one coming. Freedom takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Freedom throws a jab when Dincht was well out of range. Dincht defending well as Freedom loads up on a big left hand. Freedom misses with a combination
and Dincht makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Dincht lands a jab to the head.
Dincht lands with a right hand. Dincht scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Freedom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dincht. Freedom looks to score with a jab to the body but Dincht is just out of range. Dincht has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Dincht misses with a wild body shot. Freedom throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dincht smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Freedom walks into a stiff left hand from Dincht. A head kick misses from Freedom. Dincht ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Freedom throws a series of punches but Dincht moves out of range. Freedom bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Dincht swings for the body but Freedom moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dincht on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Freedom. Freedom obviously looking to wear him down.
Dincht feints and as Freedom raises his hands in defense, Dincht changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Dincht seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dincht throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Freedom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Freedom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dincht trying to move into half guard but instead Freedom has managed to sweep!
Freedom is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dincht is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dincht has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dincht wants to pass the guard but Freedom is keeping the position. Freedom keeping moving, preventing Dincht from controlling successfully. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Freedom is pulling down on Dincht's head. It's preventing any offense from Dincht, at least for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dincht trying to control the position from guard on top but Freedom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dincht pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dincht postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Freedom keeping moving, preventing Dincht from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Freedom uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dincht.

A jab from Freedom misses. Freedom takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dincht on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Freedom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dincht swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dincht throws a body punch but Freedom moves out of range. Freedom misses with a left hand and Dincht cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Freedom misses with a leg kick. Dincht lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Freedom lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dincht's sensitive parts. The fighters circle momentarily. Freedom darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Dincht scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zell Dincht dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Freedom misses with a double jab
and Dincht counters with a lovely straight right hand! Freedom doesn't manage to clinch there - Dincht circles away.

and Dincht counters with a nice double leg into guard. Freedom is looking to stand up but Dincht isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dincht throwing strikes from guard but Freedom blocks nicely. Dincht has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dincht stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freedom swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dincht slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dincht landing a few strikes. Freedom is working to avoid the ground and pound but Dincht connects with a decent elbow. Dincht has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Freedom is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dincht yanks on the arm and Freedom is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dincht.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zell Dincht! Zell Dincht was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
