Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cooter Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Valakas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Titties and Beer. Valakas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Coolio - Gangster's Paradise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fabricio Valakas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cooter Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fabricio Valakas! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valakas fails to land with a series of punches.
Valakas misses with a lunging right hand
and Brown counters with a takedown into side control. Brown working away. Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brown tries for a kimura but Valakas is defending well. Valakas prevents Brown from moving into mount. Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Valakas is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown trying to control the action but Valakas is working from the bottom. We've been hearing good reports from Brown's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valakas is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Brown off and has taken his back! Brown trying to control the hands but Valakas won't let him. Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Valakas on the ground. Brown defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Valakas gets his hands free as Brown looks to control. Oooh a big shot gets through from Valakas. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Valakas is trying to stick to Brown's back but Brown is turning into Valakas. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Valakas's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Brown. Valakas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Valakas keeping full guard, as Brown tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Brown slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Valakas manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Valakas keeps working. Brown is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Valakas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Brown is looking for a kimura but Valakas is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brown to get the leverage. Brown looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Valakas looking for submissions off his back. Brown is stalling here. Valakas is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Brown seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Valakas has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valakas tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Valakas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well. Brown tries to control but Valakas manages to take his back. Brown breaks Valakas's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Brown pushes down on Valakas's leg and manages to get into half guard. Brown is keen to just control but Valakas is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valakas looking for submissions off his back. Brown seems to be looking for submissions.
Valakas actively working from the bottom here. Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Valakas keeps working. Brown is trying for a kimura here. Valakas looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Brown wins by kimura!
