Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jax comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique - The Rebel. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Jax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Miller! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller dives in for a single leg takedown but Jax sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jax with a knee to the head.
It looks like Jake Miller has been cut. Jax with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Jax throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Jax gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jax tries to pass the half guard into mount. Miller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Miller wants to improve his position but Jax is controlling well.
Jax is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jax controlling from the full mount. Jax seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Miller for as long as he can get away with. Poor strikes thrown by Jax there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Miller is looking to improve his position but Jax isn't that keen on the idea. Jax thowing shots but they're missing. Jax thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Jax controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jax controlling from the full mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miller tries to hold on but Jax postures up. Miller is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Jax dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jake Miller's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Miller closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jax quickly recovers to half guard. Jax wants to improve his position but Miller is controlling well.
Jax is controlling Miller's position as best he can from this difficult position. Jax makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jax. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jax is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Further stalling from Jax.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Jax. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Jax managing to control the position. Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jax has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Jax's legs - danger averted.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Miller gets caught flat footed, as Jax shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jax slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Miller is letting Jax control him for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jax wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working. Miller trying his best to control but Jax has mounted him. Jax content just to control the position here. Miller is working to get back to half guard.
Tony Jax overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jax darts in and clinches Miller up against the cage. Jax lands with a light punch inside. Jax lands a takedown into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Miller tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Jax has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Miller tries to lock up and control but Jax gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Miller is in all sorts of trouble here.

And that's the end of the fight! Tony Jax showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jax has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
