Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Laford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Ulrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laford kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jail Break. Chris Ulrich struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laford tries to keep at a distance but Ulrich has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ulrich is trying to pull guard but Laford turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Laford is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ulrich manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Ulrich's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ulrich shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Laford defends it nicely.
Ulrich walks into a stiff left hand from Laford.
Laford works over Ulrich's head and body with a nice combination.
Christian Laford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laford throws out a leg kick but Ulrich moves out of range and Laford only half commits.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Laford!

Laford lands with a right and another and another! Ulrich is in big trouble! Laford lands again and this time it's lights out for Ulrich! A quality knockout there for Laford.
