Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kris Polden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Voodoo People kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Thomas Johnson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Polden. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Polden.
Polden fails to land with a series of punches.

so Johnson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Johnson prevents Polden from getting back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Johnson counters with a low kick, right behind Polden 's knee.

Johnson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Kris Polden has been cut.

Polden throws a series of strikes that have Johnson backpedaling.
Polden gets tackled into the cage by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.
Polden misses with a punch to the body.
Johnson is trying to drag Polden to the mat but Polden just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Polden goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Polden is trying to break the clinch but Johnson has him pressed against the cage.

Johnson tightens his grip and picks Polden up, before dumping him to the ground. Polden manages to land in guard.
Polden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Johnson wants to pass the guard but Polden is keeping the position.

Polden is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Ground Zero, London that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
