Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Ree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guto Silveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guto Silveira will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Konstantin Ree! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guto Silveira! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ree closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silveira circles away. Silveira has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ree shoots in looking for a takedown but Silveira manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ree's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ree shoots in for a double leg but Silveira sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Konstantin Ree. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ree fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silveira avoids it really well and circles away. Ree shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silveira but Silveira pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ree shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silveira pinned against the cage. Silveira gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Silveira misses with an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck for Ree with that takedown attempt. Silveira missing with a left hand there. Ree was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ree closes the distance and clinches up with Silveira, looking for a takedown. Ree pushes Silveira against the cage but Silveira circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ree fails with a takedown attempt. Ree looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ree is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silveira defends it well. Silveira pushes Ree off looking to stand but Ree dives back in and keeps control.
Silveira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ree. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ree is working for a submission of some sort.
Silveira is defending against the submission attempts here by Ree.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ree is looking for a kimura but Silveira is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ree to get the leverage. Ree is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silveira sees it coming and defends easily. Ree seems to be looking for submissions.
Silveira tries to kick Ree off but Ree keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ree is trying to work for a kimura but Silveira is defending well.
Ree is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silveira is just riding it out for now. Ree eventually gives up the hold. Ree looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Silveira manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ree keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silveira wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Silveira is trying to push Ree away but Ree has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Ree has picked Silveira up - he's going for a ride! Ree dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Silveira is defending against the submission attempts here by Ree.
Silveira wants to get back to his feet. Ree is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Silveira has managed to free his arm - good work. Ree is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Silveira is trying to stand up here but Ree is controlling him well. Ree is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Silveira doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ree. Ree stops Silveira from getting back to his feet.

Konstantin Ree dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ree shoots for a takedown but Silveira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ree is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silveira sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ree is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silveira can do to turn this around? Ree shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silveira sprawls well. Silveira wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ree gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Konstantin Ree. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ree throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silveira. Silveira throws a looping overhand right but Ree ducks down to avoid it. Konstantin Ree seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silveira slaps away a takedown attempt from Ree, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ree manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Silveira on his heels. He'll look to pass Silveira's guard now, I'm sure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ree drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ree jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Silveira is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ree drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silveira manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ree has Silveira in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ree had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silveira defends it easily. Silveira would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ree working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silveira doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ree is tightening it up a little... Silveira has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Silveira reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Silveira taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ree!
