Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karim Chamakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and J J Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chamakh comes into the arena with Robyn - Indestructible blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 19 - 4, fighting out of Helsinki, Karim Chamakh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, J J Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chamakh. That did some damage!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tucker.
Chamakh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tucker throws a chopping leg kick but Chamakh manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Tucker connects with the punch.
Tucker wants to land a leg kick but Chamakh is out of range.
Tucker throws out a leg kick but Chamakh moves out of range and Tucker only half commits.

and Chamakh counters with a shoot takedown. Tucker fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chamakh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tucker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chamakh wants to pass the guard but Tucker is keeping the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tucker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chamakh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Chamakh counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Tucker!

J J Tucker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chamakh crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tucker - the referee stops the clock and Chamakh gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tucker. Chamakh manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

It looks like Karim Chamakh has been cut.
Tucker putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Chamakh in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Chamakh has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tucker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Tucker is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Chamakh is defending well for now.
Chamakh has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tucker avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

I would just about give that final round to J J Tucker.
