Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Endicott Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tourney Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tourney Guy! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Johnson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Guy tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Guy is defending well. Guy trying to control but Johnson postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Johnson seems to be working for a kimura but Guy defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Johnson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Johnson is looking for a kimura here.
Guy keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Johnson seems to be working for a kimura but Guy defends the submission attempt. Johnson is trying to work for a kimura but Guy is defending well.
Johnson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Guy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Johnson. Guy is looking to control Johnson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Guy avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson passes to side control. Guy tries to bench press Johnson off him but Johnson keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Johnson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Johnson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Johnson trying to control the action but Guy is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Guy misses with a takedown and Johnson counters with a single leg into guard. Guy didn't expect that. Guy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Guy is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Johnson with a jab. Guy dives in for a single leg takedown but Johnson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Guy tries for a takedown. No joy.
Guy is looking to take this one to the mat. Endicott Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tourney Guy. Guy can't get the takedown.
Johnson just leaning against Guy, taking a breather. Guy wants to take the fight to the mat but Johnson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guy is trying to drag Johnson to the mat but Johnson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Guy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Johnson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A jab from Johnson does it's job there. Guy gets a double leg takedown into Johnson's guard. Johnson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Guy can do to turn this around? Johnson is pulling down on Guy's head. It's preventing any offense from Guy, at least for the moment. Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Guy is one step ahead there.

Johnson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Guy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Johnson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Johnson wants to control from the top but Guy keeps moving. Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson passes easily into side control. Nice work. Guy is trying to control Johnson's posture but Johnson avoids it. Guy tries to buck Johnson off but Johnson is having none of it. Johnson swings around for an armbar but Guy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Johnson's guard. Guy postures up.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Guy from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson is trying to keep Guy in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guy looking to sit in guard and control but Johnson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Guy controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself. Johnson looking to pass the guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Endicott Johnson dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Guy fails with a takedown attempt. Guy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Johnson defends well and Guy ends up having to push Johnson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Guy tries for a takedown but Johnson manages to get underhooks.

Johnson is pressed up against the cage. Guy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Johnson down to the mat. Johnson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Guy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Guy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Guy misses with a takedown attempt and Johnson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Johnson. Johnson wants to control from the top but Guy keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Guy's guard. Johnson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Guy with a lazy takedown attempt and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Johnson slips nicely into half guard. Johnson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Guy defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Guy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Guy is not content to let Johnson control the position. Johnson is working for a submission of some sort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Guy is trying to get back to full guard. Johnson is pressing down on Guy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Guy is holding on for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Guy has his hands clasped together around Johnson's back. He's all about the action. Tourney Guy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Endicott Johnson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Johnson trying to control the action but Guy is working from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Endicott Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
