Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Pichushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Puhovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pichushkin comes to the cage accompanied by Sacred Reich - Rest in Peace. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Puhovin!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puhovin shoots in looking for a takedown. Pichushkin tries to sprawl out of it but Puhovin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pichushkin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pichushkin throws a hook but Puhovin blocks it.
Puhovin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pichushkin as he avoids it easily.
Puhovin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pichushkin defends well and Puhovin ends up having to push Pichushkin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Alexander Pichushkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Puhovin.

Pichushkin lands a shoulder strike.
Puhovin wants to take the fight to the mat but Pichushkin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Pichushkin lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Pichushkin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Puhovin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Puhovin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Danga de danga de dang - Pichushkin scores with a four punch combination!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pichushkin looks to land a combination but Puhovin avoids it well.
Pichushkin looks to score with a jab to the body but Puhovin is just out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Pichushkin. That snapped Puhovin's head back.
Puhovin shoots for a double leg takedown but Pichushkin sprawls well. He's pushed Puhovin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Puhovin dives in and grabs Pichushkin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pichushkin pushes down on Puhovin's head and hops out.
Puhovin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Puhovin wants to take a breather but Pichushkin is having none of it.
Puhovin is working for a kimura but Pichushkin is defending it quite comfortably.
Pichushkin wants to improve his position but Puhovin is controlling well.
Puhovin tries to pass to full mount but Pichushkin defends it.

Puhovin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pichushkin has managed to free his arm - good work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Puhovin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pichushkin defending well though.
Puhovin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Pichushkin defend it? Puhovin steps over the head and cranks it - Pichushkin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Puhovin!
