Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darth Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rype Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darth Vader could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rype Gracie's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Vader throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gracie misses with a hook. Vader ducked under it nicely.

Gracie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gracie tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Vader tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie wants to clinch up but Vader keeps it at a distance.

and Vader counters with a good, hard body kick but Gracie shrugs it off.
A bone on bone clash there as Gracie blocks the leg kick.

Vader with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gracie throws an overhand right that lands on Vader 's shoulder, as Vader tries to avoid the shot.
Darth Vader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vader to score with a decent uppercut.
Gracie misses with a right hand
and Vader counters with a thumping low kick.
Vader looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vader lands an uppercut, right on the button! Gracie tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
