The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ventura rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Baratheon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ventura lands with a good body shot.
Baratheon fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ventura throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Baratheon counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ventura's knee momentarily.
Ventura takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Baratheon throws a head kick but Ventura moves out of range.

Ventura shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
