Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Freeman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Smith! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith throws a right hand that Freeman ducks under and follows up with a left that Freeman also avoids with ease. Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smith scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Steve Freeman has been cut. Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fight moves into the clinch position. Freeman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Freeman. Smith leaves Freeman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jack Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith misses with a straight left. Freeman drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Freeman is rocked! A big right from Smith misses. Oh Freeman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Freeman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Smith looks like he's trying to stand up.
Freeman seems to have got his legs back now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freeman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Smith doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Freeman. Freeman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Smith is just riding it out for now. Freeman eventually gives up the hold. Smith is defending against the submission attempts here by Freeman.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Freeman is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Smith is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Steve Freeman!
