Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Woite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waclav Szbrjcik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Szbrjcik has chosen Public Enemy ft. Anthrax : Bring The Noise as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Woite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Waclav Szbrjcik!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woite throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Woite walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Szbrjcik keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Woite works the jab nicely.


It looks like Waclav Szbrjcik has been cut.
Szbrjcik throws out a loose jab but Woite uses good head movement to avoid it.
Szbrjcik lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Woite at a distance.
Szbrjcik looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Woite throws a lazy uppercut

and Szbrjcik counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Woite!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Szbrjcik connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Szbrjcik swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Woite.
A combination from Szbrjcik does no damage.
Woite throws a body punch but Szbrjcik moves out of range.
Szbrjcik uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Woite has time to react.
Szbrjcik will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Szbrjcik blocks a head kick by Woite.
Woite lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Szbrjcik shoots for a takedown but Woite saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Woite throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Woite uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Szbrjcik.

Woite throws out a loose jab but Szbrjcik uses good head movement to avoid it.
Szbrjcik throws a nice looking combination but Woite bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Woite lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Szbrjcik displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Woite throws out the jab.
A punch lands to the side of Szbrjcik 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Szbrjcik dodges the punch combination from Woite.
Woite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Szbrjcik moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Szbrjcik takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Szbrjcik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Woite lands a nice looking body kick.
Woite throws a jab but it's blocked by Szbrjcik.

A decent looking cross lands there for Szbrjcik.
Woite throws a body punch but Szbrjcik moves out of range.
Woite looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Waclav Szbrjcik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Szbrjcik lands with an uppercut that bounces Woite off the cage and back into range.
Woite misses with a straight right.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Szbrjcik lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Woite has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Woite and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Szbrjcik throws a right hand that Woite ducks under and follows up with a left that Woite also avoids with ease.
Woite swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Szbrjcik counters with a left to the body.

Woite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Szbrjcik moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Woite counters with a thumping low kick.
Woite throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Szbrjcik.
Woite moves out of range of the strikes.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Woite misses with a double jab.
Woite misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Woite pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Woite drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Szbrjcik looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Szbrjcik tries for a takedown but Woite sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Szbrjcik fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Woite manages to avoid it.
Woite misses with a low kick as Szbrjcik jumps back.
Szbrjcik avoids a punch combination nicely.

Woite goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Woite. Szbrjcik shrugs it off though.
Szbrjcik takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Szbrjcik.

Szbrjcik closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Woite quickly recovers to half guard.

Szbrjcik thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Woite preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Szbrjcik not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Woite has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Szbrjcik is on him like a limpet, forcing Woite back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Szbrjcik is looking for a takedown.
Marc Woite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Waclav Szbrjcik.
Szbrjcik drops down looking for an ankle pick but Woite pulls his leg out and moves away.
Woite feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Szbrjcik's calf.

Szbrjcik shoots in for a takedown but Woite shows good takedown defense.

Szbrjcik walks into a left hand.
Woite displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Szbrjcik.
Szbrjcik stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Woite bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Szbrjcik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Woite.
Woite throws a head kick that misses.
Woite takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Woite lands with a hook. Szbrjcik tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Marc Woite showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Woite has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
