Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ben Soltan trying to control the position from guard on top but Cotton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ben Soltan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ben Soltan wants to control from the top but Cotton keeps moving.
Ben Soltan postures up.
Ben Soltan wants to stand but Cotton has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cotton looking for a guillotine here but Ben Soltan defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cotton is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ben Soltan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cotton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ben Soltan is in Cotton's guard.
Ben Soltan won't allow Cotton to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ben Soltan trying to control but Cotton is working from the bottom.
Cotton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ben Soltan controls the pace.

Cotton looking for a sweep. Not yet Cotton, not yet.
Cotton pulls Ben Soltan in close to prevent any damage.
Ben Soltan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cotton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Ben Soltan connects with a jab.
Ben Soltan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cotton quickly recovers to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ben Soltan looks to land a strike but Cotton avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Cotton is trying to control the position but Ben Soltan postures up.
Cotton is adopting a defensive guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cotton looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Cotton looks to score with a jab to the body but Ben Soltan is just out of range.
Ben Soltan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ben Soltan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ben Soltan takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ben Soltan gets in close and tags Cotton with a short punch that almost sends Cotton to the mat! Oh Cotton is in big trouble! He turns his back on Ben Soltan, trying to create some distance but Ben Soltan rushes him, striking wildly and Cotton goes down! The referee tackles Ben Soltan into the cage to end the fight! Ben Soltan is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moktar Ben Soltan!
