Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pedro Rosales !
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosales moves in looking to clinch but Nobunaka pushes him off.
Nobunaka throws the kick towards the body but Rosales avoids it.
Rosales fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sloppy strikes from Rosales . Those never looked like landing.
Rosales lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Nobunaka gets the takedown into side control.

Nobunaka looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Nobunaka controls the position.
Rosales trying his best to control but Nobunaka has mounted him.
Nobunaka fails to move to back control.
Nobunaka has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Nobunaka is working for a guillotine from mount but Rosales frees his head quite easily.

Nobunaka is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rosales has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rosales is controlling an arm, preventing Nobunaka from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Rosales defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Nobunaka's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Nobunaka seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Nobunaka is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rosales sees it coming and defends easily.

Rosales throws a sloppy head kick and Nobunaka moves out of range easily.

Nobunaka has Rosales pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rosales manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Nobunaka has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rosales avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Nobunaka does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rosales shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nobunaka but Nobunaka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rosales is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Rosales shoots in and bounces Nobunaka off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Nobunaka is looking for a triangle here but Rosales uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Nobunaka is looking to regain half guard here but Rosales keeps moving and retains side control.

Rosales wants to stand but Nobunaka is controlling his arm.
Rosales taking a break here but Nobunaka is having none of it and regains half guard.
Rosales with the ground and pound but Nobunaka uses the opportunity to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rosales trying to control the position from guard on top but Nobunaka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Nobunaka working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rosales doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Nobunaka is tightening it up a little... Rosales has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rosales reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rosales taps out! Nice BJJ there by Nobunaka!
