Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mongolia Heed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Longhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Heed might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gentlelman. Jake Longhall has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mongolia Heed's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mongolia Heed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Longhall!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heed fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Longhall sprawls well initially but Heed persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Heed thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Longhall's head.
Heed is just content to waste time from the top position. Longhall takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Heed wants to control from the top but Longhall keeps moving.
Heed won't allow Longhall to sweep him here.
Heed trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Heed trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jake Longhall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Longhall but Longhall pushes him off and we're back to square one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heed bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Longhall's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Heed, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
