The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bronson Jr looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Green has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bronson Jr throws a nice looking combination but Green bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Green looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Green passes Bronson Jr's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Green works his way into side control.
Green slows the pace down.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bronson Jr can do anything to dispel that myth.

Green postures up in Bronson Jr's guard and throws a big left but Bronson Jr blocks it.

so Green counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Bronson Jr wants to stand and escape but Green is having none of it.

Green gets to his feet - Bronson Jr follows without any prompting.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bronson Jr is trying to stand up here but Green is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Green counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Green is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Bronson Jr has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Green is looking to take a break and control but Bronson Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Green counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bronson Jr!
Green trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Green pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bronson Jr is looking to improve his position but Green isn't that keen on the idea.

Bronson Jr swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Bronson Jr slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Bronson Jr avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Green.
Green has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Green sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Bronson Jr tries to improve his position but Green has taken his back! Green has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Bronson Jr tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Green pushes Bronson Jr away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
