The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cliffton throws a lazy uppercut
and Page counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Page.
Page not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cliffton keeping moving, preventing Page from controlling successfully.
Page pushes down on Cliffton's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Cliffton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Page on the ground.
Page wants to work for an arm triangle but Cliffton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Page is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cliffton is defending against the submission attempts here by Page.

Cliffton is refusing to be controlled, as Page sits in half guard.
Page wants to pass the guard but Cliffton is defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, if Page is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Page is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cliffton is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
