Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Astra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rogue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Al Astra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Rogue!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Astra darts in and clinches Rogue up against the cage.
Rogue fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rogue goes for a takedown in the clinch but Astra prevents it.
Astra comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Astra is trying to trip Rogue. He has hold of a leg but Rogue is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Astra persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Rogue wants to get back to his feet but Astra is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Astra is in close to Rogue's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Rogue wants to sweep here but Astra controlling him for the moment.
Astra pushing down on Rogue's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Astra moves into full mount! Rogue won't be happy about that!
Astra can't control as he wanted to and Rogue manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rogue is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Astra pulls his head out easily.
Rogue looks gassed!
Rogue looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Astra thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Rogue has a hand on Astra's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Astra takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Astra pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Astra cracks Rogue with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Astra has hold of Rogue's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rogue manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Astra! Rogue is hurt baaadly! Astra is firing away with more strikes - Rogue is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
