Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Loosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Trotter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derick Trotter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Loosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derick Trotter! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loosa dodges the punch combination from Trotter.
Trotter takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Loosa cracks Trotter with a right hand to the side of the head. Loosa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Trotter finds it's way round the side to connect with Loosa's head. Loosa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Loosa throws a body punch but Trotter moves out of range. Trotter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Loosa. Trotter needs to keep his hands up - Loosa had a free shot at his head there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loosa gets a clinch. Trotter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Loosa scores with a hook to the body. Trotter tries to break the clinch but Loosa is controlling the position. Loosa lands with a short punch from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Loosa lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Trotter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Loosa has him pressed against the cage. Loosa lands with a short punch from the clinch.

and Loosa counters with a nice body shot. Loosa looks to score with a jab to the body but Trotter is just out of range. Loosa is looking to wear down Trotter with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Trotter throws a combination that misses and Loosa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Loosa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Trotter's hands. Trotter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Loosa misses with an uppercut. Trotter saw that one coming. Trotter has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Loosa misses with a body shot.
Trotter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loosa with a body punch. A glancing blow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Loosa throws a shot to the body.
Trotter closes the distance looking to clinch and Loosa counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Trotter thinking. A looping hook to the body misses from Loosa. Trotter does a little dance to reset his feet. Nice shot by Loosa. Loosa has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Trotter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Loosa. Trotter pushes Loosa up against the cage in a clinch. Loosa pushes Trotter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Loosa.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loosa presses Trotter against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Nice body punch from Loosa. Trotter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Loosa has him pressed against the cage. Loosa lands a right hand. Loosa lands on the inside with an uppercut. Trotter working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Loosa lands an uppercut. Loosa lands with a left to the head. Loosa manages to break the clinch.
Trotter misses with a few strikes there.
A nice leg kick lands there from Loosa. Trotter looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Trotter takes one on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice uppercut there from Loosa. Loosa takes a swing at Trotter's ribcage but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loosa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Trotter drops his hands momentarily and Loosa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. It looks like Loosa has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Nice uppercut lands for Loosa. That snapped Trotter's head back.
Loosa pounces like a tiger and cracks Trotter with a vicious hook! Trotter is down but not out! Loosa follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Victor Loosa! A relieved looking Victor Loosa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
