Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Marduk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marduk comes into the arena with Trick Daddy- Lets Go blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marduk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Griffin , pushing him back against the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Griffin throws a series of punches but Marduk avoids them all with ease.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Marduk tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Griffin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Marduk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Marduk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Marduk!

I think Griffin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
