Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frankie Fryer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barack Obama!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fryer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fryer controls the position.
Fryer gets to mount! Obama was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fryer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Obama is looking to improve his position but Fryer isn't that keen on the idea.
Obama takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Fryer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Obama can't escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fryer is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Fryer scoring with strikes but Obama is staying in there.
Fryer with shots to the head and body - Obama looks very uncomfortable down there.
Obama is looking to get to half guard.
Obama taking shots to the head.
Fryer cracks Obama with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Fryer looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Obama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fryer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fryer cracks Obama with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fryer content just to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Obama is trying to escape the mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fryer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Obama is looking to get to half guard.
Obama keeps trying to improve his position.
Fryer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Obama tries to improve his position but instead Fryer has taken his back!
Fryer is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Obama. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Fryer throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Obama!

Fryer is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Obama defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Fryer has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Obama is in real trouble here. Fryer gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Obama is tapping out! Fryer wins by rear naked choke!
