The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Perez.
Perez lands a front kick.

Perez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Verde is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Perez with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Perez gets through Verde's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Perez has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Verde - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Perez, and another! Verde is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
