A punch lands to the side of Larndorf 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Jicker Larndorf has been cut.
Newton thuds his right hand into Larndorf's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Larndorf glances at the clock... BAM! Newton nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Larndorf crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Larndorf is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cam Newton!
Cam Newton was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
