Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maria Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Miner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joseph Miner was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Maria Coffey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joseph Miner! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miner dives in and grabs Coffey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Coffey pushes down on Miner's head and hops out. Coffey drives through with a takedown into guard. Coffey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coffey thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Miner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Miner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Coffey missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coffey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Miner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Coffey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coffey stopping the sweep attempt from Miner.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Miner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coffey is fending him off so far but Miner persists. Nope, Coffey circles away and we're back to standing. Miner darts in and clinches Coffey up against the cage. Miner is trying to maintain a safe position but Coffey gets an underhook and turns Miner into the cage. Coffey has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Miner uses from the top position. Coffey looking for a triangle here. Miner is fighting it but it looks tight! Coffey pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Miner is tapping out - this one is all over!
