Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Merrick Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian King!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kane.
King throws a hook to the side of Kane's head but Kane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kane manages to avoid it.
Kane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Kane counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for King!
Kane looks up at the clock and then as King takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kane smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

King tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kane wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Merrick Kane dominated that round.

Kane lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! King goes down and covers up as Kane starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Merrick Kane!
Merrick Kane decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
