Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Esposito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogue Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Esposito's entrance music is Sukh Knight. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Esposito! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rogue Four! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Esposito enables Four to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Esposito manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Four throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Esposito works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Four working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Esposito's head. Four won't allow Esposito to sweep him here. Esposito will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Esposito trying to control the position.
Esposito wants to sweep here but Four controlling him for the moment. Esposito working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Four. My spies in Rooster's Coop inform me that Four has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Four scoring with punches to the head and body. Esposito bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Four's guard.
Esposito knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Four on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Four throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Esposito escapes and throws Four's legs to the side, diving into side control! Four has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Four is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Four is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Esposito jumps into side control! Esposito wants to control but Four is keeping him busy. Esposito decides to stand up, so the ref orders Four to his feet. Esposito connects with a body shot that sends Four's belly button to the back. A slow jab from Esposito misses its intended target. Esposito missing with a left hand there. Four was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Four fails in his attempt to clinch. Four walks into a stiff left hand from Esposito. Esposito gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Esposito is looking to land body kicks. Esposito throws an overhand right that lands on Four's shoulder, as Four tries to avoid the shot. Esposito throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Four shoots in for a double leg but Esposito sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Four looks winded! Esposito drops Four with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Four looks back up at him and smiles so Esposito waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Rogue Four has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Esposito just misses with a punch to the body.
Four checks a leg kick nicely. Esposito getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Four is rocked! Esposito misses with a hook. Four ducked under it nicely. Four is still on wobbly legs! Can Esposito finish him? Nice body punch from Esposito. Esposito throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Four sees it coming and avoids it easily. Esposito lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Four out cold! Four is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Esposito! A relieved looking John Esposito thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
