The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booyakasha fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.


It looks like Glen Gorman has been cut.
Booyakasha connects with a right hand. Gorman shakes it off.
Booyakasha keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gorman moves away from the strike by Booyakasha.
Gorman keeps the fight on the outside.
Booyakasha misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Booyakasha has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Booyakasha changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Booyakasha throws an off balance right hand
and Gorman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've been told by Gorman's head coaches at Silverback MMA Academy (Elite + Sauna & 160VM) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Booyakasha throws a hook to the side of Gorman's head but Gorman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gorman avoids the body shot from Booyakasha.
Gorman misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gorman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ali Booyakasha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Booyakasha stuns Gorman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Booyakasha pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Booyakasha tries to bum rush Gorman with a series of wild strikes but Gorman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Booyakasha moves out of range of the body kick.

Booyakasha tries to score with a low kick but Gorman moves his leg out of the way.
Booyakasha lands with an overhand left.
Booyakasha is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gorman.
Gorman slips under a jab from Booyakasha.
Gorman on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Booyakasha walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gorman drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Booyakasha swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gorman's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ali Booyakasha!
