Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Zound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Zound! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Jim! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jim throws a push kick but Zound slaps the foot to one side. We've been hearing reports that Zound has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jim throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zound scores with a hook to the body. Jim takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Zound thows a left - swing and a miss! Zound circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jim tries a head kick but it misses.
Zound misses with a few strikes there.
Zound closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Zound throws a jab when Jim was well out of range. Zound avoids a kick to the body.

Zound tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jim's elbow. Jim tries to work over Zound's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Zound using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jim has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jim misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Zound.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jim takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Zound just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jim's brow. Jim looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jim misses with a punch on the inside.

Zound goes for a takedown attempt but Jim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jim.
Zound jabs at Jim's body. Zound tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Zound lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jim backs up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Zound misses with a body kick. Jim moves out of range as Zound strikes. David Zound seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jim misses with a kick to the body.

Jim throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. A head kick misses from Jim. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zound throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jim counters with a body kick that stops Zound in his tracks momentarily. Jim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jim throws a hook but Zound avoids it easily. Zound walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jim. Zound will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Zound's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jim under the eye. Zound blocks a head kick by Jim.
Zound lands a jab-cross combination. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Zound lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jim has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jim and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jim misses with a wild body shot. Nice jab there from Zound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Frank Jim will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Zound scores with a nice strike. A chopping leg kick lands by Jim. Zound lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Jim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zound has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jim goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like David Zound has been cut. Jim lands with a nice combination. Zound backs away looking to recover. Jim lands a high kick!

Jim takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Zound cracks a nice hook into Jim's ribs. Zound throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Some wild striking there from Zound.
Zound takes a kick to the side of the head. Jim looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Jim throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Zound tries to clinch but Jim is having none of it. Zound cracks Jim with a good jab. Zound looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. This has been an exciting period of action! Jim misses with a head kick.

Zound swats away the attempt to clinch by Jim. Jim avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A solid leg kick lands there for Jim.

Zound tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jim manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Zound throws a series of punches but Jim moves out of range. Jim swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zound takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Zound throws a sloppy head kick and Jim moves out of range easily. Jim defending well as Zound loads up on a big left hand. Jim throws a body kick that misses. Jim lands a head kick!
Zound rushes Jim and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jim lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A nice left hand lands by Jim.

Zound blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Zound is trying to force a seperation but Jim has the dominant position. Jim missing with knees to the body.
Zound tries to break free but Jim pushes him back against the cage. Jim pushes off an throws an elbow but Zound leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Jim is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Zound is defending well for now. Zound with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Zound's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. David Zound is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jim forces Zound back against the cage and clinches. Zound is trying to break the clinch but Jim is controlling him. Jim leaning his opponent against the cage. Jim lands with a left to the head. Jim misses with the head strike.
Jim tries to work over Zound's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jim misses with a knee to the head. Jim lands with a left to the head. Jim lands a good knee to the midsection. Zound won't want to take too many of those. Frank Jim seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zound avoiding damage as Jim throws knees to the body.

Frank Jim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on David Zound's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

and Jim counters with a thumping low kick. Zound is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Zound lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Zound throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jim counters with a solid body kick. Jim tries a head kick but it misses.
Jim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Zound misses with a wild combination.

Jim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zound. That did some damage! Jim ducks under a wild hook from Zound. Zound tries to bum rush Jim with a series of wild strikes but Jim uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jim misses with a body kick. Zound swings and misses with a shot to the body and Jim moves into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Zound's face as he tries to break the clinch. Zound tries to circle away but Jim has him pinned against the cage. Zound takes a knee right on the jaw!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zound taking a breather. Knees in the clinch landing for Jim.
This has been an exciting period of action! A short right hand to the side of the head by Jim. Jim tries to land a knee to the head but Zound blocks with his arms.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Jim. David Zound has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zound digs a good body shot into Jim's ribs. Jim takes one to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jim pushes Zound away with a front kick. A head kick from Jim lands but Zound takes it in his stride. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zound lands a jab-cross combination. Jim throws a nice head kick!
Zound throws a right hand that Jim ducks under and follows up with a left that Jim also avoids with ease. Jim lands with a kick to the temple. Zound shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
David Zound's cut is getting worse. Jim delivers a nice body kick. Jim throws a head kick that Zound semi-blocks.
Jim scores with a head kick. Zound tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Zound is rocked! Jim lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Oh Zound is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jim throws a head kick that misses. Jim takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A big right from Zound misses. Frank Jim is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Zound scores with a jab. Jim acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Zound seems to have got his legs back now. Jim lands a high kick!
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Jim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jim has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
