Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Mcgregor Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayy Ventura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgregor Jr's entrance music is Eminem Drop the World. A fine choice. Jayy Ventura will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ventura throws a nice looking combination but Mcgregor Jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mcgregor Jr cracks Ventura with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jayy Ventura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ventura throws a looping overhand right but Mcgregor Jr ducks down to avoid it.
Ventura throws out a loose jab but Mcgregor Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ventura swings widly with a right hand
and Mcgregor Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ventura shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcgregor Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Ventura keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcgregor Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mcgregor Jr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mcgregor Jr wants it to stay on the feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ventura lands a nice shot that snaps Mcgregor Jr's head back.

and Ventura takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mcgregor Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Ventura might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Ventura tries to pull guard but Mcgregor Jr won't allow it.

Mcgregor Jr throws a left that rocks Ventura and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Mcgregor Jr dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Ventura regain composure!

Ventura is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mcgregor Jr off and has taken his back!

Mcgregor Jr looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Ventura is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Mcgregor Jr defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Mcgregor Jr wants to get back to his feet.
Ventura working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Mcgregor Jr is doing well to defend. Ventura seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Mcgregor Jr is forced to tap and this one is over!

A relieved looking Jayy Ventura thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Antonio Mcgregor Jr was interviewed post fight and said 'God Bless!!'.
