Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Alexander! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexander shoots and misses and Hatton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hatton trying to control the position from guard on top but Alexander is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alexander avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hatton lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hatton works over Alexander with some ground and pound from guard. Alexander thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Hatton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hatton stands up out of Alexander's guard for a moment - Alexander manages to land a nice upkick. Hatton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hatton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Alexander keeping moving, preventing Hatton from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hatton lands a couple of digs. Hatton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alexander is on top in guard.

Alexander loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hatton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Alexander can do to turn this around? Hatton lands strikes from half guard. Alexander misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hatton lands a nice short elbow. Alexander makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Alexander. He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hatton looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Alexander can't hide his disappointment, as Hatton celebrates the victory.
