Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Baboon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jorge Mcdonald has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baboon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Baboon has hold of one of Mcdonald's legs. Mcdonald is fighting the takedown attempt but Baboon gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Mcdonald escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baboon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Baboon wants the takedown. Mcdonald is fighting it off but Baboon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mcdonald's guard against the cage.

Mcdonald really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Let's hope that Baboon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Mcdonald has momentary wrist control but Baboon slips an elbow through the middle.

Baboon is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mcdonald is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mcdonald has escaped and now he's on top!

Baboon kicks Mcdonald off and gets to his feet.

Jorge Mcdonald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Baboon.

Baboon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mcdonald is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Baboon, into his guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Baboon wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Mcdonald is now in half guard.

Baboon manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Baboon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Luis Baboon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mcdonald tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baboon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcdonald somewhat.

Baboon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcdonald looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mcdonald wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Baboon is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mcdonald has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Baboon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mcdonald's face.
Oh Mcdonald is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baboon postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Mcdonald badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Baboon around the waist but Baboon pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Baboon is the winner by TKO! Baboon jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
