The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Pinedo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Atkinson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Atkinson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Atkinson has a takedown stuffed.
Atkinson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pinedo scores with a sloppy right hand. Atkinson should have avoided that one.
A punch combination from Pinedo misses.
Pinedo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Atkinson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pinedo swivels and escapes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Atkinson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pinedo fails to land with a series of punches.
Atkinson misses with a wild combination.
Pinedo lands a left and a right that send Atkinson crashing to the mat, dazed. Pinedo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Atkinson is rocked!
It looks like Kasey Atkinson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pinedo swinging wildly here.
Oh Atkinson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pinedo cracks Atkinson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Atkinson falls backwards against the cage. Pinedo follows up with more strikes that drop Atkinson to his knees. Pinedo keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Atkinson! This one is all over!
