Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Rodelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zlatan Jelencsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jelencsik has chosen M.O.P. - Cold as Ice as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Zlatan Jelencsik told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Rodelin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zlatan Jelencsik! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Hemmingworth and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jelencsik fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rodelin, pushing him back against the cage. Rodelin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Jelencsik obliges. Rodelin pulls guard effortlessly. Jelencsik gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Rodelin is looking to clinch. Some wild striking there from Jelencsik.
Jelencsik clinches. Rodelin can't get the takedown.
Rodelin blocks the elbow strike.
Rodelin throws an elbow that misses.
Jelencsik landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Rodelin tries for a takedown but Jelencsik manages to get underhooks.

Rodelin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jelencsik walks away with a smile on his face. Rodelin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Rodelin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jelencsik avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jelencsik tries to clinch but Rodelin is having none of it. Jelencsik darts in trying to clinch and Rodelin counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jelencsik!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jelencsik is letting Rodelin control him for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rodelin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rodelin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rodelin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jelencsik to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodelin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rodelin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jelencsik knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Rodelin moves into full mount! Jelencsik looks winded! Rodelin wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Rodelin trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodelin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jelencsik can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Rodelin controlling his opponent. Rodelin get's back to his feet. Jelencsik moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Brian Rodelin has been cut. Rodelin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Rodelin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodelin moves nicely into side control. Rodelin is staying tight to Jelencsik's torso, preventing him from escaping. Rodelin advances to mount. Jelencsik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rodelin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rodelin controlling from the full mount. Rodelin looking for a guillotine from mount but Jelencsik is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jelencsik throws a hook but Rodelin blocks it. Zlatan Jelencsik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodelin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Rodelin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jelencsik can do to turn this around? Jelencsik gets tackled into the cage by Rodelin. Rodelin maintains the clinch. Rodelin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jelencsik just stands there and leans against the cage. Jelencsik prevents a takedown attempt there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodelin wants to take the fight to the mat but Jelencsik manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Rodelin wants a takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rodelin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jelencsik is trying to keep an underhook but Rodelin manages to get the takedown into half guard. Rodelin trying to pass the guard but Jelencsik defending well. Jelencsik wants to control but Rodelin passes into side.
Jelencsik is breathing heavily. A lull in the action here. Rodelin lands some shots froms side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rodelin trying to control the position but Jelencsik is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jelencsik is trying to control Rodelin's posture but Rodelin avoids it. Rodelin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rodelin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jelencsik takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Rodelin passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jelencsik! Rodelin looking to secure an arm triangle but Jelencsik defends it well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rodelin looking for a guillotine from mount but Jelencsik is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodelin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jelencsik is surviving well by controlling Rodelin's body position as best he can. Rodelin is standing up, even though he is in mount. Jelencsik tries to clinch up. Rodelin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rodelin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Rodelin wants to take a breather but Jelencsik is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodelin is pressing down on Jelencsik's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jelencsik is holding on for now. Well, if Rodelin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Rodelin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jelencsik manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Rodelin trying to control but Jelencsik is working from the bottom. Rodelin works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rodelin controlling the pace. Jelencsik is not content to let Rodelin control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Jelencsik takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rodelin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodelin slips nicely into half guard. Rodelin missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rodelin seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jelencsik is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
