Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nichols shoots in and drives through. Rhodes sprawls well.
nichols showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rhodes.
nichols tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rhodes swats him away and circles back towards the center.

nichols is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

nichols is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rhodes has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. nichols is looking to defend but Rhodes has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for nichols! Rhodes pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, nichols taps out and this one is all over!
