Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clayman Ironchin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ironchin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karlsson tries to avoid it but Ironchin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karlsson to the ground. Karlsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Ironchin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Karlsson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ironchin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Karlsson.
Karlsson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ironchin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ironchin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Karlsson to stand up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

enabling Karlsson to counter with a crisp jab.

Clayman Ironchin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Ironchin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
