Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jozef Jankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hara is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Who - Eminence front. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hara throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hara tries for a takedown but Jankowski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hara falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jankowski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jankowski pinned against the cage. Jankowski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hara throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jankowski counters with a stiff right hand. Hara connects with a jab. Hara misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hara misses with a two punch combination.

Jankowski slips under a jab. Jankowski has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Jef Li's MMA(13 coaches, 49 cap) in the buildup to the fight. Hara falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jankowski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jankowski.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jankowski keeps control of Hara as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jankowski has picked Hara up - he's going for a ride! Jankowski dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Hara trying to control here.
Hara won't allow Jankowski to pass to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jankowski is trying to control. Hara wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hara looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jankowski is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hara defends it well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jankowski in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jankowski tries to pass to full mount but Hara defends it. Hara blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jankowski. Jankowski is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Jankowski wants to pass to mount but Hara is defending the position. Jankowski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hara felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Jankowski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hara with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hara is trying to get back to full guard. Jankowski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jankowski trying to control the action but Hara is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jankowski stalling. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hara is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jankowski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hara keeps working.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hara fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jozef Jankowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Hara. Hara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jankowski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hara tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hara keeping full guard, as Jankowski tries to pass. Jankowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jankowski sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hara working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jankowski. Hara being controlled here, momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hara preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jankowski stands and throws Hara's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jankowski tries to score with some ground and pound. Hara controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Hara is trying to work for a sweep but Jankowski has mounted him! Hara is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hara wants to control but Jankowski is having none of it. Jankowski looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hara throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jankowski. Jankowski is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hara can do to turn this around? Hara misses with the combination.

and Hara takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hara misses with a left hand and Jankowski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Jankowski there. Hara is looking for a sweep. Jankowski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jankowski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hara makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hara. Hara is looking for a triangle but Jankowski pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jankowski looking to pass the guard. Hara looking for a guillotine here but Jankowski defends easily.
Hara wants to sweep but no luck. Jankowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hara swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jankowski is in close to Hara's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hara is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jankowski is aware though and is defending well. Jankowski preventing the sweep. Jankowski loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jankowski passes Hara's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jankowski winds up and cracks Hara with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hara taking some punishment here, with Jankowski in his half guard. Hara moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jankowski's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jankowski throws a strike but Hara rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hara throws a big right hand that misses. Jankowski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hara manages to get himself to full guard.

Jozef Jankowski dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hara shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jankowski but Jankowski pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hara swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jankowski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hara throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hara is working Jankowski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hara missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hara loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jankowski keeping moving, preventing Hara from controlling successfully. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jankowski's guard. Jankowski regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hara. Hara wants to control from the top but Jankowski keeps moving. Hara wants to pass the guard but Jankowski is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Josh Hara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hara throws a combination that misses and Jankowski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jankowski trying to control from Hara's half guard. Hara has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Jozef Jankowski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jankowski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Jozef Jankowski showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jankowski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
