Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Rave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Oppelaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rave comes to the cage accompanied by What Happened?. Craig Rave is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Craig Rave! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Oppelaar! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oppelaar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oppelaar gets tackled into the cage by Rave. Rave maintains the clinch. Rave lands a nice shot to the body. Oppelaar prevents a body shot from Rave. Oppelaar has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rave is trying to keep an underhook but Oppelaar manages to get the takedown into half guard. Rave is looking for a sweep. Oppelaar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rave keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Oppelaar winds up and cracks Rave with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Rave pushes Oppelaar off looking to stand but Oppelaar dives back in and keeps control.
Oppelaar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rave keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Oppelaar stops Rave from getting back to his feet.
Oppelaar drops an elbow to the side of Rave's head. Rave taking some punishment here, with Oppelaar in his half guard. Oppelaar thows a huge punch but Rave dodges it nicely.
Oppelaar is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rave looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rave trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oppelaar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rave defending well though. Oppelaar lands strikes from half guard. Rave keeping control of the position. Rave has hold of Oppelaar's hands but Oppelaar slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Rave avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Oppelaar. Rave is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Oppelaar lands a nice short elbow.
Rave is rocked! Rave tries to roll over but Oppelaar keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oppelaar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rave's head. Oppelaar scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Oh Rave is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rave misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Oppelaar content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rave is trying to maintain the position but Oppelaar is very close to passing his half guard. Rave's coaches at Irish Collar-and-Elbow Academy have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Rave looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rave seems to have got his legs back now. Oppelaar is thwarting Rave's attempts to control the position. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Rave avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Oppelaar. That's three minutes gone in the round. Rave looking to hit a scissor sweep but Oppelaar is one step ahead there. Oppelaar working some strikes from top position. Rave is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Oppelaar is aware though and is defending well. Oppelaar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Oppelaar with a flurry of punches that miss. Oppelaar trying to control but Rave is working from the bottom. Oppelaar throws a big elbow that misses. Rave is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Oppelaar is controlling him. Rave is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Oppelaar defends well. Rave controls Oppelaar momentarily but Oppelaar frees himself. Oppelaar stops Rave from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oppelaar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Rave utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Oppelaar throws a big right hand that misses. Oppelaar is looking to work some ground and pound but Rave has wrist control. Rave is trying to keep Oppelaar in close.
Oppelaar landing some decent shots from guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Oppelaar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Oppelaar connects with a couple of short punches. Oppelaar postures up in Rave's guard and throws a big left but Rave blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rave is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rave is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Oppelaar dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Oppelaar pounces like a tiger and cracks Rave with a vicious hook! Rave is down but not out! Oppelaar follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
